Seven uncapped players have been included in Scotland's 50-man training squad for the autumn internationals.

Coach Frank Hadden has named new faces Max Evans, Mark McMillan, Dan Turner, Moray Low, Calum MacRae, Geoff Cross and Steve Jones in his initial squad for the November's Tests against New Zealand, South Africa and Canada.

The training session on Monday will see the players work under new coaches Mike Brewer (forwards) and Graham Steadman (defence) for the first time.

Hadden said: "The purpose of this squad session is really two-fold; firstly to debrief following the (June) Argentina tour; and secondly for the players to be introduced to our new two assistant coaches, Mike Brewer and Graham Steadman, ahead of our assembly for the autumn Tests in November."
