Jones: Will help out the Dragons
Former Ospreys head coach Lyn Jones has agreed to work with Newport Gwent Dragons on a consultancy basis.
Jones will work alongside Dragons chief Paul Turner on an interim basis until the end of the year while the region look to recruit a full-time assistant coach.
"Lyn and I have had several discussions over the past month in my dealings with Lyn in his role at Ebbw Vale RFC," Turner told the Dragons website.
"I believe Lyn would bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our coaching team during the intensive program of fixtures ahead of us."
The Dragons have received 13 applications for the assistant coaching role, with an appointment expected in the new year.
