Mitchell: Under investigation
Western Force coach John Mitchell is facing an investigation in to his conduct following allegations from players about his behaviour.
Rugby WA have placed former All Blacks coach Mitchell on restricted duties while retired judge Robert Anderson lead the inquiries.
Rugby WA have so far refused to comment on the specific allegations, saying only "certain assertions which have been raised with Rugby WA (including from players and coaching staff)".
Mitchell, who is has three years left on his current deal with the Force, has come under increasing pressure in recent months - with reports claiming his straight-talking approach had alienated some players.
A statement from Rugby WA read: "While Mr Anderson is undertaking his inquiries, Mr Mitchell will remain the head coach of the Western Force but some restrictions have been placed on his activities as head coach in the short term.
"These will not interfere with the club's preparation for the 2009 Super 14 season."
