Sale Sharks flanker Luke Abraham has been cited by the Rugby Football Union following an incident in his side's match with Bath on December 20.
Abraham will appear before a disciplinary panel in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, on January 5.
The Sharks had already suspended the forward player for two weeks after reviewing the game on DVD.
That means Abraham is already ruled out of the trip to Worcester on January 3.
