Justin Harrison has signed a one year contract extension with Bath, keeping him at The Rec until the end of next season.
Having moved to the Northern Hemisphere almost four years ago the Australian international spent three seasons with Ulster before moving to the Guinness Premiership club.
"Coming here was always about exposing myself to risk and playing the best rugby that I could," said the 34-year-old lock.
"I am enormously enjoying playing Guinness Premiership and Heineken Cup rugby and being part of a young, enthusiastic squad."
The contract extension gives Bath a timely boost ahead of their tough game at Leicester Tigers on Sunday.
Head coach Steve Meehan said he was delighted at the news: "His overall contribution is, in many ways, better than his individual performance.
"He acts as an assistant to the younger players and is always available for them to talk to and, on top of that, his performance for the first team has been of a high standard."
