Vainikolo: New court date
England and Gloucester winger Lesley Vainikolo has appeared at Bath Magistrates' Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm during a street brawl.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with head injuries following an incident outside the Second Bridge nightclub in Bath's Manvers Street on October 26.
Vainikolo, who was arrested following the incident, spoke only to confirm his name at a short hearing on Friday.
The case has now been sent to Bristol Crown Court, where a preliminary hearing will be held on January 13.
