Former British and Irish Lions coach Ian McGeechan is keeping his options open despite reports linking him to a return to the Guinness Premiership with Harlequins.
McGeechan seems the perfect choice to take over the reins at the troubled Quins, who saw Dean Richards quit as director of rugby in the aftermath of the 'Bloodgate' scandal.
McGeechan is currently a free agent after parting company with Wasps in the summer, with the Scot having led them to domestic and European glory during his tenure at Adams Park.
However McGeechan insists he has not spoken to Quins about the position and he could instead now focus his attentions on the world of business.
"Harlequins are probably getting sorted out what they want," McGeechan told Sky Sports News.
"There have has been no contact, no conversations.
"I've got to make sure that it is right. I never plan things in my life about what I do and where I do it but you would have to think about if the thing is there.
"I have been doing some business coaching, which I have quite enjoyed. I hope to be going forward with one of the current Lions sponsors over the next four years in a quite exciting role, which is linked to a little bit of rugby coaching and also business."
