Tony: Hull switch
Hull's former New Zealand international Motu Tony has joined National League Two rugby union side Hull RUFC until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old utility back, who won 18 caps for the Kiwis, missed the last nine matches of the 2009 Super League season with a foot injury and, after being released by Hull, was unable to find another top flight club.
Tony will link up with former Hull team-mate Lee Radford, who has joined the coaching staff of the rugby union club and ex-Bradford winger Tevita Vaikona, who is director of rugby.
"Motu fancies a new challenge," said a club spokesman.
"Players of his calibre are hard to find in either code and we are pleased to have him on board."
