Blair: Happy with Cardiff
I am delighted to commit my future to the Blues where I am more than happy having enjoyed my time on and off the field from day one.
Ben Blair
Quotes of the week
Former New Zealand international Ben Blair has committed his future to Cardiff Blues, extending his stay with the club until 2012.
The 30-year-old joined the Blues in the summer of 2006 after helping former club Canterbury to victory in the Ranfurly Shield final at the Jade Stadium.
Blair has made 92 appearances for Cardiff, with the full-back scoring more than 800 points to become the region's top points scorer.
And Cardiff Blues chief executive Robert Norster is delighted at extending the contract of Blair.
He said: "We are naturally delighted to announce the news of Ben's contract extension.
"Ben has proved himself to be one of the most reliable goal-kickers and creative broken field runners in the game and we very much welcome his extended commitment to the team."
Blair, who won four caps for the All Blacks, is happy to extend his contract at the club and is looking forward to building on the success of last season.
He added: "I am delighted to commit my future to the Blues where I am more than happy having enjoyed my time on and off the field from day one.
"I have a young family that are really settled in our adopted home from home and I look forward to building on the successes of last year with my friends and colleagues in what is a very competitive squad here at the Blues."

Great news for Cardiff bad news for any team that might have wanted him which i would be guessing is alot of teams across globe. great runner pity he cant get into All Blacks and had to leave New Zealand. Is great leader on pitch and will keep driving the Cardiff Blues on for silverware.
