Doherty: Joining Sale
Sale Sharks have continued their recruitment for next season by completing the signing of David Doherty from Wasps.
The 21-year-old winger has spent the two seasons at Adams Park having initially made the break through at Leeds.
However, despite having 12 months left on his current deal at Wasps, Doherty has agreed to sign for Sale on a two-year deal.
And Sharks director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre is delighted with the signing.
He said: "I am pleased that David is joining Sale Sharks, he is a young player with plenty of potential. He made his mark at Leeds and has played in some big games for Wasps this season.
"I am sure he will fit in with us at Sale Sharks and we look forward to his arrival at pre season training."
