Gloucester have bolstered their squad with a short-term deal for former Wales scrum-half Andy Williams.

The 28-year-old, who won five caps for Wales, arrives at Kingsholm from Championship outfit Moseley - with England Under-20 scrum-half Jordi Pasqualin heading the other way as part of the deal.

Williams has previous Guinness Premiership experience with Bath, while he played in Wales for the Ospreys and Newport-Gwent Dragons.

Williams will provide cover to Rory Lawson and Dave Lewis for the No.9 shirt while Pasqualin gains some much needed match experience at his former club.

Meanwhile former Wales back-row Nathan Thomas is no longer training with the club after his short-term deal expired.
