Versatile forward Kristian Ormsby has agreed a new two-year deal to remain with Sale Sharks.

The 30-year-old joined Sale in 2008 from the Chiefs and he was one of the club's most consistent performers last season.

And having seen a number of new players arrive at Edgeley Road in the summer, Ormsby is looking ahead to the new campaign with renewed confidence.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sale Sharks and am delighted to have signed the new deal," said Ormsby.

"Obviously, it was very disappointing to get injured so soon after my arrival and the injury took longer than we expected to heal.

"But I was delighted to rejoin the Sale pack towards the end of the last season and am very much looking forward to the future with the club.

"Like everyone, I am excited by all the new signings we have made and am looking forward to working with new head coach Mike Brewer.

"Now I just want to play my part in trying to bring success to the club both in the new season and beyond."
