King City
Pakistan 110-3 (S Khan jnr 50, C Mpofu 3-16) beat Zimbabwe 107-8 (H Masakadza 53, F Alam 3-7) by seven wickets
Pakistan have beaten Zimbabwe by seven wickets in King City to maintain their pefect record in the quandrangular Twenty20 tournament.
Shoaib Khan Jnr shared a 96-run partnership with Salman Butt as Pakistan eased past their opponents' total of 107-8.
Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat on a hard surface, with Masakadza enjoying the conditions as he smashed 53 off 38 balls, including five fours and three sixes.
He was then run out with the score on 82-1 off 11 overs, as Pakistan turned the screw and restricted the Zimbabweans in the second half of the innings.
The big-hitting Shahid Afridi joined Khan in opening the Pakistan innings as they tried to make short shrift of the Zimbabwe total.
However, Afridi fell in the second over and it was left to Khan to anchor the innings along with the watchful Butt, whose patient 33 not out saw Pakistan home with an over to spare.
Butt hit two fours and a six as Pakistan followed on from their victory over Sri Lanka ahead of Monday's final.
