England and Pakistan have agreed to play two Twenty20 internationals in Dubai in February.

The matches are set to take place on February 19 and 20 and will act as a warm-up to the World Twenty20 in the West Indies at the end of April.

And with Pakistan set to defend their title in Caribbean, the matches will provide England with a much-needed test ahead of the tournament.

However Pakistan are set to use the matches to try out a number of their younger players.

"We have reached an agreement to play two Twenty20 matches against England on February 19 and 20 as part of our preparations for the World Twenty20 next year," said PCB chief operating officer Wasim Bari.

"We see the two matches as an opportunity to try and develop some new players and give more and more players the opportunity to play at the top level."
