New Zealand: new coach required

New Zealand have begun their search for a new coach following John Bracewell's decision to return to county cricket with Gloucestershire.

Bracewell spent four years coaching the Black Caps but decided not to seek a new contract following the recent tour of England.

And New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have now stepped up their search for a successor, saying they are offering the opportunity of a lifetime to a world-class candidate with a proven track record.

"New Zealand Cricket seeks an experienced, passionate, outstanding leader to build on the team's solid foundation and take the Black Caps to the next level of achievement," read the advertisement on their official website.

"NZC's stated strategic goal is for the Black Caps to be sustainably number one or two in the world in both forms of the game and to regularly win world tournaments and series."
