Ben is one of the best known faces on British television and joins Sky Sports ahead of its biggest ever season of live football after a decade with ITV's GMTV.

He is a hugely popular live presenter who has worked a broad range of television, from The Bigger Breakfast and the launch of T4 to The Krypton Factor.

Ben began his long association with GMTV by presenting the showbiz strand Entertainment Today before becoming one of its main presenters. Ben has also hosted BBC1's 1 v's 100 and has three times turned out for the Celebrity XI in ITV's Soccer Aid alongside Jamie Redknapp.

A passionate West Ham fan, Ben has interviewed a host of sports stars including Harry Redknapp, Kenny Dalglish, David Haye and Jonny Wilkinson. He will co-present Goals on Sunday with Chris Kamara together with selected live UEFA Champions League matches.

Speaking ahead of joining Sky Sports, Ben said: "I can't tell you how excited I am about my new role and this new chapter in my career. The opportunity to join the incredible team that makes up Sky Sports is second to none.

This season Sky is the only place to watch all Sky Sports HD coverage of the Barclays Premier League, which comprises 115 exclusively live matches, more than ever before.
