Quotes of the week
Surrey Storm made easy work of Team Northumbria, defeating the visitors 60-26 with Rachel Dunn producing a fantastic display.
In contrast to the previous evening's tense clash with TeamBath, Surrey strolled to their sixth straight victory.
Storm began confidently and by the end of the first period had created a 17-5 lead, thanks to Michelle Hall scoring 100 per cent.
Rachel Dunn showed the fans a shooting master class throughout the match, scoring 44 goals from 50 attempts.
Natasha Hampshire and Rhianne McHale also impressed in the match, with head coach Mary Beardwood delighted with their performances.
The win keeps Surrey clear at the top of the Superleague table and Beardwood was pleased at being able to use all of the squad members.
She said: "To win the first quarter 17-5 was a credit to all of them and I was able to play lots of players today meaning all our squad members except Polini Langi who is injured have now played."
Storm skipper Sonia Mkoloma was delighted with the team in what has been a busy week.
She added: "It was great we were able to put out three consistent performances in six days, everyone really dug deep for all three and we put out some world class performances this week."
