TeamBath coach Jess Garland has hailed her side's "intensity" after they toppled Loughborough 56-40.
The defending champions have found themselves in the shadows of unbeaten Co-operative Netball Superleague leaders Surrey Storm this season.
However they got back into the groove with a fast-paced and exciting victory over the Lightning.
Bath dominated from start to finish, with Rosie Allison leading the way as they recorded the much-needed win.
"We put in a consistent performance," said Garland. "We won all four quarters and I've wanted us to do that for a long time.
"The intensity for both mind and body in the way we played today was enormous but the players know that they need to be able to sustain that level."
England shooter Jo Harten was well-shackled by the Bath defence throughout and the Loughborough skipper admitted her side had areas to work on.
"We made some errors and we still have a lot to learn," said Harten.
"Now we need to work on things in training and transfer them into our next match against Glasgow."
