Aidan O'Brien will be represented only by Mount Nelson in Saturday's Coral-Eclipse despite having two other entries in the race.
The red-hot trainer runs the four-year-old in Sandown's Group One feature after the Rock Of Gibralter colt finished a close-up fifth in the Queen Anne Stakes last time out.
"We are looking at running only Mount Nelson in the Eclipse and Johnny Murtagh will ride him," said O'Brien. "King Of Rome will probably go to Hamburg for the German Derby on Sunday.
"Plan ran well when fourth at the Curragh on Sunday and this weekend might come a bit too soon for him."
Henry Cecil will launch a two-pronged attack though, with Phoenix Tower and Multidimensional both set to take their chance providing the ground is okay.
He told the Racing Post: "They are second and third favourite in the betting, so they are entitled to take the chance.
"Phoenix Tower likes fast ground. For Multidimensional, I would like there to be no jar. As long as the ground is good, it should be fine."
