Sky Bet installed Rainbow View as 6/1 favourite for next year's 1,000 Guineas after the filly stormed to victory in the Group Three Skybet.com Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket.
Held up at the back of the field by Jimmy Fortune in the early stages of the seven furlong event, the 6/4 favourite was asked to challenge on the rails.
And when the jockey asked for an effort the response was impressive, John Gosden's filly showing a fine turn of foot to scoot clear and win by six lengths from Misdaqeya, with Minor Vamp a head back in third.
"She's a nice type of filly," Gosden said. "She's not the biggest and is very active at home so we have just let her get on with it.
"She's handled it well today. She got left behind and pulled very badly which makes it all the more impressive.
"She's a filly who likes to get on with life. She's a very sweet and honest filly but always likes to be on the go.
"All being well, we will freshen her up and bring her back for the May Hill at Doncaster."
