Jeremy Noseda has confirmed Fleeting Spirit as an intended runner in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint.
The three-year-old filly finished fifth in the re-run of the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp recently after being left in the stalls in the original race.
"Fleeting Spirit appears to have bounced out of her race at Longchamp and is in good order," said Noseda.
"Having looked at the likely participants in this event - and in view of the likelihood of her not running again until next May - we felt that it was maybe time to take a little gamble and give it a whirl.
"Johnny Murtagh will hopefully take the ride on her."
Noseda also confirmed that 2006 St Leger winner Sixties Icon is likely to line up in the inaugural running of the Breeders' Cup Marathon.
"It is a race in which he ought to be very competitive, although we are looking forward with interest to seeing the full list of entries," said Noseda on his website, www.jeremynoseda.com
"He has always worked well on the Polytrack at home and the reports we've received suggest the surface is very similar at Santa Anita.
"The plan is for him to ship to America on Sunday morning."
