One Gulp (r) leads over the last
Nicky Henderson suffered a surprise reverse in Kempton's Starlight Lapland Mares' Hurdle as Hora could only finish fourth behind One Gulp.
Barry Geraghty was never comfortable on the 15-8 favourite as his mount made numerous jumping errors.
The Paul Webber-trained One Gulp (15-2) tracked the long-time leader Strawberry before going on turning into the straight - but she looked a sitting duck for Amber Brook.
Paddy Brennan oozed confidence on Nigel Twiston-Davies' recent Wincanton winner, whose jockey took a long look over his shoulder between the last two flights.
However, she found little off the bridle and One Gulp went away to win by three and a half lengths, with Blaeberry in third.
Webber said: "She had a very good summer and has improved a lot. But she had a little leg infection about a month ago and I was just worried whether we had got enough work into her.
"She'll have to improve again to be top, top class so I think we'll dream about the David Nicholson Mares race and hopefully some nice ones in between."
