Lordan: Replaces Holland
Trainer Roger Curtis has handed Wayne Lordan the ride on Zafisio in the Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly on Sunday.
With Darryll Holland's 21-day ban not due to expire until June 12, Curtis has turned to the Irish jockey for the French Derby.
Holland had been on board of the colt as he finished second to Irian in the German 2000 Guineas in May.
"We've got Wayne to ride him as Darryll is banned and the horse is very well, spot on," said Curtis.
"The plan has always been the French Derby but ground would be the worry. At the moment they are saying it's good, good to soft in places but they are expecting it to go to good to firm. If it does he'd be up against it.
"As it stands at the moment we are still going to run.
"He's come out of the German Guineas in smashing form and I think the trip will suit him."
