July Cup winner Fleeting Spirit heads a list of 16 possibles for the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock on Saturday.

Jeremy Noseda's filly will bid to make it two Group One victories on the trot, but faces a potentially strong line-up including the progressive High Standing.

William Haggas' four-year-old is unbeaten in four starts this term and graduated from his Wokingham handicap success at Royal Ascot to claim the Group Three Hackwood Stakes at Newbury in July.

He could be joined by stablemate Triple Aspect while Peter Chapple-Hyam, who already had Al Qasi in the six-furlong dash, has splashed out £17,500 to add Sayif to the field.

J J The Jet Plane is poised to have his first start for the Richard Hannon team having been transferred from the care of Mike De Kock, while Bushranger and Intense Focus are the two Irish entries.

Golden Jubilee winner Art Connoisseur will need to bounce back to form following disappointing displays in the July Cup and the Nunthorpe, while Marcus Tregoning's Finjaan and the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Main Aim are other interesting contenders.

Asset, Corrybrough, Equiano, Judd Street and Regal Parade complete the list of possibles.
