Ian Williams will saddle in-form veteran Munsef in the Group Three Stockholm Cup at Taby racecourse in Sweden on Sunday.
The seven-year-old has landed three of his four starts since joining the trainer from John Dunlop, and could be on course for a trip to Melbourne later this year.
However, all eyes will be on this weekend's event which was won in 2004 and 2006 by the Alan Swinbank-trained Collier Hill.
"He won very well at Chester and although he went up 4lb for winning at Ascot, he beat Mystery Star again and the step up in trip seemed to suit him," said Williams.
"He actually goes to Stockholm on Sunday for the Stockholm Cup, which is a competitive Group Three, and Jim Crowley rides.
"It is not beyond the realms of possibility that he then might take off to Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup for which he has a lovely racing weight of 53 kilos, and Dr Koukash (owner) and the team are quite keen to go," he told At The Races.
