Wincanton: Cleared
Thursday's meeting at Wincanton will go ahead after the course passed an impromptu 8am inspection.
The Somerset venue was hit by 21 millimetres of rain overnight, with forecasts failing to predict the deluge.
As a result officials were forced to call an inspection - and although the going is classed as heavy, the National Hunt fixture will go ahead as planned.
Clerk of the course Barry Johnson said: "It's going to be a real slog, but we are ready to crack on.
"We've taken out two fences and a hurdle, where the ground was a concern, but it's perfectly raceable."
