Green light for Wincanton
Somerset venue passed fit after inspection

Wincanton racecourse
Thursday afternoon's meeting at Wincanton will go ahead as scheduled after the track brought forward an 8am inspection.
The threat at the Somerset venue was waterlogging but despite six millimetres of rain overnight the track is fit for racing.
However, the water jump and the hurdle on the stable bend will be omitted all afternoon.
"We've passed our inspection," said clerk of the course Barry Johnson.
"We had up to six millimetres of rain overnight but we knew we could take that much.
"We will have to miss the water jump and the hurdle on the stable bend though."
