Lingfield's National Hunt meeting on Monday goes ahead after officials cancelled an early morning inspection.
Temperatures had been expected to dip below freezing but the forecast proved to be inaccurate.
"I've cancelled the inspection and we are fit to go," said clerk of the course Neil Mackenzie-Ross. "Temperatures stayed above freezing overnight and racing goes ahead."
The going is described as heavy while there is also a National Hunt card at Southwell, where it is soft, heavy in places.
