Voy Por Ustedes
Voy Por Ustedes drops back in trip on Saturday when he lines up in the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury over two miles.
The former Queen Mother Champion Chase winner failed to get home over three miles at Leopardstown last time out but that came as no surprise to trainer Alan King.
"He didn't stay in the Lexus and we've known all along that we won't get his favoured top of the ground until Cheltenham time," he said.
"In that sense the going is a slight worry for Newbury this Saturday, but with the ground as it is generally at the moment you can't be too choosy."
King has yet to decide which race the horse will run in at the Cheltenham Festival, although he is likely to challenge for the Ryanair Chase in which he was second last season.
"Depending on how he gets on at Newbury, it will be either the Queen Mother or the Ryanair. The horse is in very good form."
Just four horses have been entered for the Newbury race at the five-day stage and consequently the contest has been reopened until 11am on Tuesday.
Voy Por Ustedes will be re-united with Robert Thornton with the jockey set to return from injury this week.
Thornton hurt his back in a fall at Leicester two weeks ago and could be back in action at Ludlow on Wednesday.
"Choc will be back as soon as he is passed by the doctor and it could well be on Wednesday," King added.
"He schooled a stack for me this morning and he's in great form. It will be great to have him back."
