Overturn: Progressive
Overturn provided trainer Donald McCain and jockey Graham Lee with a notable victory in the Guinness Galway Hurdle on Thursday.
The improving six-year-old landed the Northumberland Plate on the Flat last month and made all the running to give McCain his first taste of success at the festival.
Lee, whose parents live within walking distance of the track, enjoyed an armchair ride on the gelding - who has now won four of his last five races over timber - who scored by five and a half lengths from last year's winner Bahrain Storm, with Dirar a close-up third.
"That was the sort of performance I was hoping for," said McCain. "He's improved all year and when I first bought him I was hoping he was this good, but it hadn't happened.
"I don't know what the plan is but he's still in the Ebor. I've asked him some tough questions and he's kept answering, so whether he needs a break or not I don't know, we'll see.
"It was always the plan to make the running and Graham says he's a machine."
