Hidden Cyclone is an exciting prospect for the future.
John 'Shark' Hanlon is excited about the future for Hidden Cyclone who has been put away until next season after he signed off with a facile win at Navan last week.
Hanlon is dreaming of next year's RSA Chase and the totesport Gold Cup the following spring for the six-year-old, whose only defeat in seven starts came in a Grade One hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas.
"He didn't know he had a race," said the County Carlow trainer.
"The last time he ran he just didn't jump as well and I was disappointed. He jumped brilliantly this time, he came home alone and he's been out in the field since.
"We'll look forward to next season with him. He's a really good horse and he'll go chasing when he comes back.
"We'll run him over two and a half mile upwards. He had no trouble staying the two mile seven at Navan.
"I'm happy with him and it's great to have a horse there who could be a Gold Cup horse in a couple of years.
"We'll start off steady with him next year and we'll work from that and hopefully this time next year he'll be at Cheltenham."
