Jim Goldie is targeting the Wokingham Stakes for his Victoria Cup winner Hawkeyethenoo after his ready win at Ascot last weekend.
The progressive five-year-old is likely to be aimed at the big six-furlong handicap at the Royal meeting despite winning over an extra furlong last time out.
He won with some authority by two and a half lengths from Manassas in a 28-runner field after hitting the front a furlong out.
"He's come out of Ascot in excellent form. He's bouncing about like a champion," said the Glasgow trainer.
"He's really well and we're looking forward to Ascot. I think we'll go the Wokingham route."
