Hawkeyethenoo is set to return to Ascot, the scene of his latest success, after recovering from a slight setback.
The six-year-old will stick to seven furlongs for the Betfair Summer Double First Leg International on July 23 after relishing the step up from shorter distances when winning the Victoria Cup at the Berkshire track in early May.
The Hawk Wing gelding has not been seen since then as he had a niggling problem, but trainer Jim Goldie reports all to be well with him and is looking forward to the valuable seven-furlong handicap.
"He's going to Ascot again in a couple of weeks' time," said the Glasgow handler.
"He had a wee hiccup a few weeks ago, but he's in good order now and training well."
