David Wachman is considering supplementing the speedy Requinto for the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York later this month.

The juvenile was an impressive winner of the Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood last time and Wachman is now set to discuss plans for the speedy two-year-old with owners Sue Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith, who are connected to the sponsors of the York Group One on August 19.

"He's quite a nice horse. He seems to have come home from his race well. We'll see how he is and where we go with him from there," said the County Tipperary handler.

"I'll have to have a chat with the owners, whether we keep him to two-year-olds only or possibly go for the Nunthorpe. We'll see what they want to do.

"I imagine he's going to be a sprinting horse. His mother (Damson) was very fast and he looks quick."
