Sizing Europe is reported to be firmly on target for the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown on Saturday.

Henry De Bromhead's stable star won the stanjames.com Queen Mother Champion Chase in March and is reverting to the minimum trip at the weekend.

"Sandown is the plan at the moment, he seems in good form and we'll give it a go," the trainer told At The Races.

The nine-year-old was a fortuitous winner of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Champion Chase on his reappearane but was beaten, stepped up to three miles, in the JNwine.com Champion Chase earlier this month.

"It was obviously a fairly tough race the last day but he seems in good form now and we're happy to let him take his chance at Sandown, " the trainer added.

"For the moment we'll concentrate on two to two-and-a-half miles, but I wouldn't rule out going back up three at some time probably on better ground than he had at Down Royal."
