Paul Nicholls will have more than just Kauto Star and Master Minded to worry about at Kempton on Boxing Day with a couple of other high-profile runners on the card.

Silviniaco Conti, who was no match for Cue Card when starting off over fences at Chepstow but took the Rising Stars Novices' Chase at Wincanton by 25 lengths, is heading to Sunbury along with Rock On Ruby.

The latter is being mentioned in some quarters as a potential dark horse for the Champion Hurdle after a fine weight-carrying performance in the Gerry Feilden at Newbury.

Nicholls said: "Rock On Ruby runs in the Christmas Hurdle and Silviniaco Conti runs in the Feltham.

"We're really looking forward to trying him over three miles on a flat track."
