Henry De Bromhead has confirmed that Sizing Australia is on course to defend his title in the Glenfarclas Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

The 10-year-old accounted for Garde Champetre last season but has not taken part in the the two Cross Country races that have taken place at Prestbury Park this season.

De Bromhead told "Unfortunately he got a setback in September so we couldn't have him ready for either of the Autumn or Winter Cross Country races.

"He will be going to the Festival after a couple of runs over hurdles."

Another De Bromhead inmate who could be Cheltenham-bound is Berties Dream.

The nine-year-old has recently joined De Bromhead from Pat Gilligan and the 2010 Albert Bartlett winner was a wide margin winner over fences at Thurles last weekend.

De Bromhead added: "He won his beginners chase as he liked and he's a tough genuine fellow.

"Though he may be one of the slowest horses in the yard over that trip, he just grinds it out and we will aim him at The Ten Up Novice Chase at Navan over three miles next and decide from there as to whether he goes for the RSA Chase."

One horse that will not be heading to any of the Festivals is Days Hotel. The Craddockstown Novice Chase winner has had a setback and has been ruled out until next season.
