The Tied Cottage-bound Big Zeb has pleased trainer Colm Murphy since his victory in the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown.
The 2010 Champion Chase winner has won both of his starts this season, although the form of his latest success has not been franked by the runner-up Noble Prince who suffered defeat on Sunday.
However Murphy is not perturbed by that and revealed that the 11-year-old is firmly on target for his next start in the Boylesports.com Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown on February 5.
Murphy told At The Races: "He's very well well since we began to step him up again in his work for the Tied Cottage - it's all systems go and it's so far so good.
"It's the obvious route and it's worked before so we're hopeful."
Meanwhile stablemate Quito De La Roque is also back in work ahead of his next assignment, the Irish Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on February 12.
The eight-year-old beat Sizing Europe on his reappearance but then could only fill third place in the Lexus Chase, a performance which left Murphy scratching his head.
"He ran ok but we were disappointed," Murphy explained.
"He didn't finish the race the way he normally does; he travelled well but seemed to go up and down on the one spot late on.
"Given how slow they went he should have been coming home best of all but he's well since we've freshened him up and he'll head to the Irish Hennessy next."
