Kempton target for Bridgwater ace

The racing+ Chase at Kempton could be the next port of call for The Giant Bolster following his impressive victory at Cheltenham on Saturday.
The seven-year-old ended a year-long barren spell with a 17-length verdict in the Grade Three Murphy Group Chase, making all of the running under Tom Scudamore.
The Giant Bolster had won at the same meeting in 2011 but jumping problems had blighted his career in the interim and Bridgwater was pleased to see his charge return to form in style.
"It was great to see him win and I think Tom Scudamore was absolutely inspired - he gave him a super ride," said the Gloucestershire handler.
"The horse is fine, though, he's out in the field getting some sun on his back and it was brilliant to get the win.
"He wasn't foot-perfect throughout, but he brought it back and he seems to be learning, which is good.
"We will have a look at the racing+ Chase at Kempton for him now and see how that's shaping up.
"Obviously you want to win at the Festival and it's on everyone's radar, but we just need to do what's right for the horse.
"We're on a positive with him now and we don't want to take a step back with him.
"He will go up a few pounds for Saturday and if he were to go up 10lb or 12lb and then go and win at Kempton, he would suddenly be something like third or fourth favourite for the Gold Cup.
"We need to see how he runs next time but there are options there for him. He's entered in the World Hurdle but basically that's in case something went wrong.
"We will see how he runs next time before setting out a plan."
