Wachman: Mapping out plans for Tannery

David Wachman has some grand plans for Tannery after her gutsy victory in the Kilboy Estate Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.

The Dylan Thomas filly ended the unbeaten record of Dermot Weld's highly-regarded Caponata as she came with a strong late run.

Following up a Listed win at Limerick in the Group Three event, she handled the drop down to nine furlongs well and appears to have plenty of options.

"She's is progressing with every run and I think she'll progress even more from three to four," said Wachman.

"Given another year she could be pretty smart.

"We might go to the Blandford Stakes with her next, then after that there are a few options in America for her.

"She's very tough and genuine, she was only just getting going at the finish."
