Quevega is set to return to full training next week after being given an easy time of it having developed a cold.

The remarkable nine-year-old will bid to win the OLBG David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle for a fifth successive season at Cheltenham next month and trainer Willie Mullins is pleased with her preparation despite the recent blip.

"She's in good form and has done some very nice work. I'm pleased enough with her but she had a bit of a cold this week so had an easy week, she'll be back in full action next week," he told At The Races.

"She's very funny and lets you know the minute there's something wrong. She doesn't enjoy things and let's you know she's not enjoying it so you check her out and usually find something.

"With the weather getting hot and cold in the middle of winter you try and find out when they're getting a cold and give them a few easy days to get over it."
