Fisichella: hint

Giancarlo Fisichella is looking for a new team after Renault F1 boss Flavio Briatore hinted that his services were no longer required.

Speaking to an Italian radio station, Briatore revealed that, after three seasons with the team, Fisichella will no longer be driving for Renault in 2008.

"Renault will definitely have different drivers next year," Briatore said.

And although Fisichella has received no confirmation from Renault about his future, the Italian is already talking to other F1 teams.

"I don't know anything yet," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper. "I surely want to race in Formula One, and now I'll take a look around.

"I'm considering other possibilities.

"There is Renault, there are other teams, but I've not closed a deal with anyone yet."

Recent reports have linked Fisichella - who turns 35 in January - to a seat at Force India, with whom he's expected to test at Jerez next month.
