Trulli: Enjoying the battle
Fresh from claiming his first podium finish since 2005, Jarno Trulli believes he is driving better than ever.
Toyota have showed an upturn in form in the last two races, with team-mate Timo Glock and Trulli respectively finishing fourth and sixth in Canada.
Trulli then finished third behind the Ferraris of Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen in Sunday's French Grand Prix.
The Italian currently stands joint seventh in the Drivers' Championship with 18 points.
And, according to the 33-year-old, experience is one of the main reasons why he continues to improve.
"I think I am driving better than ever. I have experience and I believe I improve every year because you always learn from mistakes or from your experiences," Trulli said.
"With a competitive car I can fight at the front, I am sure of that. In France I showed how determined and hard-headed I am; I fought to the end and really enjoyed the battle."
The Italian is also confident the team's TF108 chassis will help them to improve even further.
He added: "This year we are much more competitive; the car seems more balanced and I am able to push more because it is very drivable.
"Quite simply, the car is quicker than last year and that means we are more competitive."
