Webber: Targets
Mark Webber is confident Red Bull can secure a top-four finish in the Formula One constructors' championship as his in-form team prepares for Sunday's British Grand Prix.
Webber heads for Silverstone looking to continue his impressive run which has seen the Australian collect points in six of the eight races so far, with just one retirement.
And he hopes that consistency will reap rewards for the team at the end of the season.
"Currently the season is going better than we could have expected after the start of the year when we had a lot of tough opposition down the pit lane," said Webber.
"Those teams are still there, but the numbers never lie and at the moment we are looking good to maintain fourth in the constructors' championship."
Last season Webber was forced to retire seven times but his second year in the Red Bull car has already brought him eight points more than for the whole of 2007.
"Touch wood, I've had a good run in terms of reliability and that's certainly helped," added the 31-year-old.
"I think we've executed most of our weekends pretty well. In terms of qualifying and the race, it has generally gone well, certainly much better than last year.
"Not many teams have managed to get seven consecutive points scoring finishes. Okay, maybe we're not banging out podiums and race wins, but we are doing everything that can be asked of us at the moment."
David Coulthard's third-placed finish in Canada helped Red Bull's position in the constructors' table but the Scot is currently trailing Webber in the drivers' standings.
"I'm pretty happy with the way I've been driving, although having a reliable car has helped," said Webber, who is five places better off than Coulthard in seventh place.
"I'm comfortable with the car, and I feel I can put it on the limit at most venues, which is encouraging. I am trying to keep the errors to a minimum, and that's been reflected in our points tally.
"As for the rest of the season, it's not going to get any easier for us and we still have to deliver week in and week out."

Its good to see Mark webber doing something right for a change! instead of crashing or moaning about other drivers like he always does. I am happy for Red Bull tho. Its good to see then progressing. Good luck to them.
