Bourdais: Flash fire
Toro Rosso have ruled out a fuel rig problem as the cause of Sebastien Bourdais' flash fire in last weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Red Bull-backed outfit was one of four teams, alongside Williams, Honda and Toyota, to suffer flash fires whilst refuelling during the race.
Given the number of fires, it was initially thought that either the high summer temperatures in Budapest or fuel rig problems were the cause.
Toro Rosso, however, have ruled out the latter.
"I can confirm it was not a problem with the rig. The problem has been resolved to make sure it does not happen again, but there is no further comment from our technical group," a team spokeswoman told autosport.com.
Honda said their incident was caused by the refuelling hose not being fitted squarely on the car, while Williams think excess fuel in a full tank shooting back up inside the hose caused their problem.
