Quotes of the week
Ferrari ace Felipe Massa is focused on over-turning the seven point lead that Championship rival Lewis Hamilton currently holds over him.
The 27-year-old has won five times this season and was favourite to win in Singapore after qualifying on pole but an error in the pits meant he finished 13th.
With three races remaining, Massa needs to pick up the points to deny Hamilton his maiden Championship win and the Brazilian will battle all the way to the end.
He said: "We are seven points behind and we still have a chance.
"We are strong and can win. We have lost important points but we just try to win again and win the championship.
"I don't like to look back but this season we have lost points here and there which if we had got we could maybe have 40 more points by now and won the championship already.
"At this moment he (Hamilton) has the advantage but maybe by the next race it is different.
"I think he is a very strong driver. He is a very strong man and will be very hard to fight with but I think we are very strong also.
"We have shown we can have great performances as drivers, we have a great car and that is for sure the most important thing for the last three races.
"I will try to do well in qualifying, try to do a good in the first stint and then an even better second and third stint."
BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica still has a mathematical chance of claiming glory.
The Pole is 20 points off the top of the standings and will continue to fight whilst hoping that a bit of fortune comes his way.
"Mathematically I am still there as a few other drivers are but it is quite hard with the two drivers in front who are quicker in normal conditions," he said.
"Also if you compare the start of the season where I was closing the gap but now the situation is opposite and I am losing the gap.
"But I will try to get as much points as possible and hopefully get lucky."
Paul di Resta was many people's rookie of the year in 2011 as he helped Force India to sixth in the constructor's standings.
