Domenicali: Engine deal
Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali has all but ruled out the possibility of them supplying engines to whomever takes over the Honda F1 team.
The World Constructors' Champions said earlier this month they would be prepared to supply engines to any new owners but that no deal was in place.
Meanwhile, Honda F1 team principal Ross Brawn said he had approached Ferrari about a possible engine supply - the two having a close relationship owing to his time as technical director at Maranello.
However, speaking at the launch of Ferrari's 2009 car, the F60, on Monday, Domenicali appeared to put an end to the notion of a link-up between the two.
"The chance of us supplying engines to Honda is close to zero," Domenicali said, without elaborating further.
Honda stunned Formula One at the start of December when they announced they were pulling out both as a constructor and engine provider because of the global financial crisis.
The Brackley-based team, run by Brawn and chief executive Nick Fry, have said they are considering some 12 serious offers with 'global players' among those interested.
The season starts in Australia on March 29.
