Bernie Ecclestone admits he is concerned about Ferrari's threat to leave Formula One.
On Wednesday, Ferrari reiterated their threat to walk away from F1 after a French court rejected their bid for an injunction against the FIA's planned budget cap and its two-tier regulations.
"Well, I am concerned, I don't want them leaving," Ecclestone said in Monaco ahead of the sport's showpiece weekend. "I don't think anybody does."
The F1 supremo also doubts that Ferrari and the others team will reach a compromise with Max Mosley in time for the May 29 deadline for entries into next year's Championship.
"We will have to wait and see," he said when asked whether all ten teams will sign up next week. "Probably, the majority won't put an entry in."
As for Ferrari's opinion that Formula One should be renamed 'Formula GP3' given some of the teams wanting a place on next year's grid, Ecclestone said: "It is an opinion, isn't it?
