GP2 and Renault test driver Lucas Di Grassi says he will be racing in Formula One next season for Virgin Racing.

Brazilian media reported on Friday that the 25-year-old will be confirmed by the new outfit as team-mate to Timo Glock next week.

"I was a Renault test driver for two years, and I think I'm well prepared to move into Formula One," Di Grassi told Brazil's TV Globo.

Di Grassi finished second to Glock in GP2 two years ago and has since finished third in the category two years running alongside his testing commitments for Renault.

He will become the fourth Brazilian driver in F1, joining Felipe Massa at Ferrari, Rubens Barrichello at Williams and Bruno Senna at Campos.

Virgin Racing is the branding to be given to the Manor GP team, who will officially launch themselves on Tuesday.
