Hamilton (left) and Button: the former champion is tipped to beat his new teammate
Skysports.com readers think Lewis Hamilton will come out on top in his battle with teammate Jenson Button in this season's F1 campaign.
Button joined his fellow Brit at McLaren during the winter but, despite being the reigning world champion, is expected to play second-fiddle to Hamilton in the pecking order at the Woking-based team.
Almost three-quarters of those polled on skysports.com are backing Hamilton to finish ahead of Button in the 2010 drivers' standings, and bookmaker Sky Bet agree, making the 2008 champion 1/3 to top the 2009 winner, who is 9/4.
Sky Bet have produced a number of markets ahead of the new Formula One season which gets underway in Bahrain this weekend. Specials are available for all the top drivers as well as season match bets and championship betting.
Hamilton is 4/1 to claim his first win on Sunday, and 8/1 to pick up points in every race this season. Meanwhile Button is 7/4 to not take the chequered flag at any of the 19 races in 2010 and 5/6 to score under 161.5 points.
With Hamilton and Button on-board, McLaren are 9/4 to win the 2010 constructors championship, with Hamilton 10/3 to win the drivers' title and Button the sixth favourite at 12/1.
